This is the first round of stuff that was hammered out after the LL takeover. Expect to see the product line fill out like Athearn's did a few years ago. We may never see as many releases as HO, but we will see a steady stream.

This would be a huge disappointment! :-X

Wow... That RS-2 could seriously put a dent in Mr. Wallet.  But I notice that neither WM nor Undec are offered...  Perhaps next go round.  If someone gets hold of one of these, please post a photo sans-shell.  I'm interested to see how the mechanism looks.  The clip fit circuit board sounds a bit like the Bachmann H-16 design...

Question for the proto-goobs... would not the RS-2 share the same wheelbase and frame as an RS-3?  There's a shell in the junkbox that's very interested in the answer.

These are DCC friendly mechs?

Well then, I guess I'll be repowering my RS3m sometime in the future then...

The prototype were similar, the RS-2 has the fueltank under the cab floor.

They should interchange, but Murphy's law overrides should.

Looking forward to the DCC-friendly RS-3s.  Maybe Walthers will whip up a better Cornell Red color than that awful purple that Life-Like always used...
