Work is starting to pick up again, so I didn't get too much done last week.  I did receive my replacement SD-35 in the mail, so I transplanted the cab I needed onto 7435, and the drive into 7436.  Now I can authentically run my stone train with SD-35's!

The really good news is I found a photo that shows 7436 still in black paint in 1971!

You can get away with Rockwell Condensed Italic, but it's a little too condensed, and the R's and S's don't look right.

I had off today, so I'm counting it as the weekend.

I didn't do a whole lot until this evening, when I finally got my butt in gear and started making my new GP38-2s CR specific (by adding CR specific stuff!).

I've only added the cab vents (the reason for the off-center numbers) and cab signal boxes. Sinclair antennas are next up.

I also did some work on my Atlas Classic GP30. I've added the signal box to it, but also moved the horn from the typical location on the "prow" of the "brow" to the side on the curved part of the cab over the engineer's window.

It looks much more CResque now. It also got a cab signal box, and will be receiving a sinclair antenna tomorrow with it's newer EMD brethren.

Making some repairs while enjoying a day off. Here two of my GP-7s are idling on my test table.

In my world, the Rock lives and the Iowa Interstate popped up on its own. Here a GP-38 is working a grain local with Rock and ADM covered hoppers.
