Hmmm
think I need to consider if there is a kitbashing value here.  Some etched driver covers, 4 wheel pilot truck, reconfigured pilot, and a skyline casing might just leave a credible SP AC-9...

Well I guess my W&LG will get the 0-8-0 . The UP Y-3 was only around 1945 ish to 1947 ish , though the W&LG is an option . Might just wait for the reports on its good and bad points first . Too bad there wasn't a FEF-3 UP 844 being made though .

But in true Walthers/LL fashion, the 0-8-0 will be missing a steam dome, and the articulated will be sans smokestack...

Actually, the 0-8-0 will be awesome. FEC used them for light freight power. Maybe now's the time to get going on that FEC caboose.

 :o :o :o

Better than I thought!

Now I hoping for a clearview tender and a paint job I don't have to fix.

When do these hit the streets? Next week like Kato? :P

Yes, but it will include a sight glass...  whether it needs one or not!

I really like the look of that HO version . I hope they use that same tender on the N scale one .

Hmmm, "big" and "medium" quickly became "ho" and "hum".

I've already got two Y3's from earlier releases, with Soundtraxx installed. They don't pull well, so I certainly don't need any more.

The 0-8-0 will interest me only if it pulls well and the chassis is appropriate for a PRR conversion AND someone (GHQ?) makes a conversion kit.

I sincerely hope there's a passenger car announcement coming...

Wes,

Been done-long ago by Rowa, and RivaRossi.  Con-Cor might still have some shells-you could drop one on the LL mechanism
