More Bare Trees . . . . Ed

I've actually been thinking about the "up and up" structure. I was in AC Moore the other day looking for options. I didn't find anything, but I did get some paint.

I really like the look of that when it's bare.

I agree.  It looks better bare than with leaves.  You don't need to go to the store though.  I found all that stuff in my yard.    It's what I do when doing yard work becomes absolutely necessary (and it's me that has to do it).

Don't rush into the yard thing.  They're over rated.  It's the basement you're after.   ;D

And don't over look supply raids on managed property either.  Often they plant ornamental shrubbery that has good branch structure potential.  I lived in a place that prided itself on the landscaping.  Lots of possibilities but I didn't have a layout at the time.  Would have been very easy to take some "sample" cuts.   

I found the prototype for the super tree structure.  I think it's a hemlock.  Even has the bend in the trunk so many of the super trees do.

I wonder if they went and measured that thing, then bred a plant to mimick it...  ;D

A bare hedge.  I think this would make a good mid winter forest floor Ed.  Dried Hydrangia flower heads.  Lay them in thick enough and you'd have a good thicket.  Not real difficult either.
