Polling for Interest: 28" Wheelsets

I bought some 36" FVM wheelsets for my Trinity hoppers & think they look great .. especially for the price. Now I want to run through my Autoracks & fit 28" replacement metal wheelsets - problem is the only 28s I can find are the NWSL wheels, & that's a lot of $$$ to drop on the fleet...

Is there anyone else here who'd be interested in 28" drop-in metal wheels for your autoracks*, or for any other cars? I'd be in for > 60 axles/15 cars myself.

If there's similar interest from other members, I figure it can't hurt to ask the question of Fox Valley Models**


* Does anything else take 28s, or is it just 'racks?

I'd be in for a half dozen cars worth at least myself. It'd be nice to see small wheels, but won't we need trucks to accommodate them?

No, it's the stock truck mounts.  You would really need some broad curves to operate with body mounts on an 89 footer.
