searching for a kit to build a Big Boy from scratch

I am planning to build a Big Boy from scratch. We don´t have this kind of kits for sale in Sweden, so I need help with an adress to a company or shop whom I can by it from. I am interested in both die cast and plastic kits. Of course in HO digital. With plastic I do NOT mean Revells. I have a few from Athearn-Genesis, and that kind of material I mean. Of course the kits must include electric DC motors and all the wirings so the model is ready to run on the tracks  IF I can manage to build them.
Regards, kallaz.  ;D

The only kit is the Revell one.  All our HO Big Boys are fully assembled from the factories.

If you want, I could take one apart and send it to you in pieces.  ;)

Bowser Manufacturing makes a "Big Boy" kit in addition to its Challenger kit, here is the URL describing it.

Hey, how about that.  Shouldn't be hard to make "digital" either.

I´m sorry to admit, but I can´t figure out the pricelist. So here you get a blunt question.  What are they asking for a BB kit. Lowest to the highest? If I can help you with something in Swedish, of couse I will return the favor. By for now. :)

Kallaz, you will also need:

#1-100375   Bowser BIG BOY SUPERDETAIL KIT   $65.00

to add the finer details shown in the Bowser photograph.

IIRC, Bowser recommended buying the Revel/Monogram/ConCor kit for the tender.

Precision Scale offered the centipede trucks in brass. (585-31539 and 31537  $7.75 + $20.25 back in 1997). (they also had all the etched parts to roll your own tender shell).

Looking at the HO detail parts available in the Walthers catalog can make you sick from envy.

Bob in IDaho, who still has 3 of the CC labeled kits in the basement.
