I'll be there Saturday morning.  Probably hanging around John and Ed.

I'll be selling, as Merchandise Service, both days. Look for the overhead sign with the PRR X29 "Merchandise Service" box car...

I'll have the last of the Alan Curtis PRR F30a and F30d flats... nearly gone!

Also, show specials on two exclusives I produced... the HARRIS tower model and the Berwind hoppers.

Stop by and introduce yourselves!

I'll be there all day Saturday and Sunday afternoon with BANTRAK.

The layout is up and it's "something different".   ;D

I'll be holed up in the attic shunting cars in my new yard, building the next consist to head out into the verdant Potomac River valley on a warm afternoon in the summer of 1970.

I'd love to be up hunting down bargains, but I'm minding the budget big time this time of year.

I'll see everyone up there in June.

I bought the bridge abutments that go with the skewed girder bridge from Bob Knight (Traincat2).  I picked up some honey-colored static grass, some grey ballast from Hunter Scenery Co, and that stretchy telephone line material.  That's it.

I missed John and Ed.

Bought some Con-Cor autoracks from MB Klein for $7 each...they also had a number of Atlas PS-2 s-bay hoppers marked at $2.99 each.

Got some Walthers doublestack cars at 50% off retail from Tom's Trains...same as the current Walthers sale price on them.

I also picked up some Digitrax decoders I'd been looking for.

As for Ed & John, they were no-shows today, so all of us missed them.

The GF bought some tools.

I bought another A-B pair of IM B&O F-7s\ a Kato unlettered RDC-2/RDC-4 set cheap\ a couple of magazines AND the best deal of all\ for four bananas\ a LL 0-6-0T and one in pieces.  The real surprise is that the one that was not in pieces actually ran after a little work with the LL track cleaner.

The one in pieces is missing some parts\ so it looks like I will have to try to transplant the shell onto one of these Japanese or Korean chassis that I have.

As usual\ the GF had more fun at this one than I did.

(The comma key on this keyboard is not working so I must use the backslash)

One thing about which I am less than happy:  I was unable to secure my PRR Gallopping Goose.  The only dealer that had any\  Obie's Trains\  sold both of his in the morning.  Boohoohoo; would someone please call the WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAmbulance for me?

Sorry I bailed. I had a plumbing emergency this morning that kept me home.

John, on the other hand, is just a slacker...

the PRR leased a number of locomotives from N&W in 1966 thru 1967.  i went to the show looking to pickup an Atlas N&W RS-11 #438.  i would have picked up a drop-in decoder had i realized it accepted one.  i also picked up 3 boxcars that fit my era - Sept 1967.

missing from the show was the ride-on train.  my son was not happy.
