engineshop is of course correct. Originally EMD/EMC offered an NC and SC model. These had a cast underframe, for those steam holdouts that hadn't gotten the idea that welding wasn't a novelty. Frank

Dang, I think this first run will sell like crazy. I'd like one, but I'll wait a while. Doesn't sound like they will get cheaper, at least I will heard how they are first.

Erie had about 26 of these...

I'll have to take a look at these, hopefully it'll be possible to remove a panel's worth of hood and add a sand box and turn them into SW  :o

That would be nice. Otherwise I'll just have to go broke and convince someone to make many more resin shells instead  ::)

Well, Kato USA is supposed to be at the WGH show in Pittsburgh tomorrow. I'll see if I can get a look at one of these rascals if they are displaying any.
