In mid-May, Ruth and I journeyed from Harrisburg to Montpelier, Vermont on Amtrak and rented a car for
railfanning sightseeing. I'll probably write a lengthy post about the trip later on, but the three photos below are among my favorites. I am not a fan of the as-delivered Acela paint scheme, but this unit is dressed up beautifully. The Vermonter was changing power at New Haven when this eastbound rolled in for a brief station stop. (This is the west end of the train.)
