Hey all,
I set up a rotary beacon on an RS-11 with a DN147a0 in it, but I don't love how fast the beacon "rotates" at. Anyone know if there is a way to slow down the flash rate on the function? Or am I stuck with it.

Also, while I'm asking, any way to dim that function through programming? Or would I just need to add more resistors before the LED to decrease the current going to the diode?

Please note that Digitrax states that for an LED output, the value for the first component of CV62 should be zero.

(This just leaves values between 0 and 15 to adjust the flash rate)

CV62 lets you control the rate and keep-alive brightness for each FX3 effect you set up. The CV value for CV62 is made up of 2 digits, the first digit and the second digit.

I would also try a series resistor to decrease the brightness.

Thanks folks.
Got the flash rate down to what I want it, and I'll just deal with the brightness for now, don't want to open her back up now that she's working well in time for the Amherst show this weekend. I'll get a second resistor in there at a later date.
