I vent it outside.  I such reading the MSDS for your resin to understand what you are dealing with.

For air purification and venting, my 10" Anycubic M3 Photon 8k Premium 10" printer has two USB powered carbon air purifiers under the cover, which I turn on when printing.  I have both spare carbon filtering elements and air purifiers so they're easily maintained and replaced if one of the purifiers quits (one already has in three years of use).  My big Anycubic Photon Mono M7 Max printer doesn't have the USB ports for USB powered air purification, but Anycubic makes rechargeable ones (2 for $23.99 USD that will run for about 14 hours on a full charge.  These are the same size as their earlier non-rechargeable ones, so I'll be ordering a couple of these before New Years.

These little activated charcoal air purifiers help lessen the resin aroma, but don't totally eliminate it.

Since my printers are on the same wall and adjacent to my home-made paint spray booth, I keep the spray booth on continually to constantly pull fumes out of the room air and exhaust them through a window adapter with a dryer vent hood on the outside. The blower is an industrial model that is designed for continuous running.

Although this doesn't eliminate either the resin nor the IPA fumes, it helps a lot and I'm happy with this arrangement.

Personally, I'm not offended by the resin fumes, nor by the IPA fumes.  Yes, they're not great smelling, but I don't believe they are particularly DANGEROUS, unless there is absolutely zero ventilation in the printing space.

I found a space heater, set the thermostat, put it near the printer, and that seems to work fine..

Next question.. what are you guys using for air filtration for the fumes?

I installed a fairly high capacity evacuation fan (430cfm) in the basement window of my shop area.  It does double duty for my laser cutter and helps to recycle the air in my workshop.  It's loud/noisy as hell, but it does a good job of keeping my space vented.

I also wear a 3M respirator with VOC filters while cleaning and working with the printers, and store all the waste paper towels and failed prints in a sealed 5 gallon pail.

I developed a sensitivity to resin fumes about 9-10 months ago after 3D printing at home for nearly 4yrs...  Minor respiratory irritation, nothing serious, but between that and a bunch of YouTube videos warning of issues with 3D printing resin, I've cut way back on my printing activity.

Also...  Do yourself a huge favor and look up/read the MSDS sheets on printer resin.  The most shocking thing about them to me, is the absence of any data regarding the long term health effects from exposure to the resin.  Lack of any useful data should give anyone pause.

Being a fit, healthy, and diet conscious 59 yr old, I don't want to torpedo my long term health for this type of hobby activity.

Vent the room outdoors away from the structure.     Chemical sensitiviity depends on the individual.   These chemicals are actually quite nasty.   Wear disposable gloves when handling the resin, wash fluids etc.    Vent outdoors from closed space.  Toxicology studies typically only look at short term exposure not long term.   Sensitivity to these chemicals is. accumulative over time.   Toxicity is accumulative over time.    Most of the resins are methacrylate based chemistries.   Use common sense.    It may not affect you now but if a few years who. knows.  Remember,  These materials have only been in the market place for only a couple of years.

Filters do not really work. They get saturated fairly quickly and need to be replaced often.   This can become very expensive.  VOC respirators filters have a very short life and need to be replaced often.

My printing space is temp controlled year around to be at 23 degrees in winter and a little higher in the summer.   Chamber temperatures get to 28C and some times up to 32C during long prints.     When the monomers react to form the polymers heat is liberated and will heat up the resin in the vat. (exothermic reaction).

Something to remember about venting to the outside. What air is moved outside, it will need to be replaced with air from the outside.  So if it's real cold or hot outside, your HVAC will have to work to recondition the incoming air. This cost money and at times, lots of money.  So try to do your printing (or painting for vented spray-booths) while the temps are mild outside.

I had just contemplated garage ventilation... my workshop, including painting and 3D printing is a heated garage.  And I have a paint booth to vent those fumes.  But things tend to collect in the air, especially with no air cycling on a regulat basis.  I started looking at vents, glorified bathroom vent type scenarios.  And then figured I would need some sort of heated makeup air unit to really do it right.

That was where the wondering stopped.  Was hoping to run across an example of someone going this route.

Both fans are around 450 cfm each and when the laser is running, I can tell the difference in air pressure in the house. I really want to install a air exchanger, but right now it's too cost prohibitive at around $2000 for the one I want.

Exactly...  This is why I don't print in summer, or on the coldest days of winter.  I don't have too much of an issue spending extra on heating the house, but the central air in our 100yr old home struggles to cool the house on moderately hot (low 90's) days as it is.  So I don't do hardly any printing in the summer now.

This is EXACTLY why I cut way back on 3D printing...  Too little long term exposure data and cumulative sensitivity.

The higher capacity ventilation fan (450cfm) I added in my workshop is connected through my laser's vent hose.  According to what I've read, two fans in series (the laser has an evacuation fan of its own) doesn't improve air flow in most situations.  But in my case, the distance from the laser's fan, to the larger ventilation fan is about 7', so there is a benefit to having both running when running the laser.

But when 3D printing, I only run the external fan...

I recently moved my printing gear out into the garage, I don't do anything fancy for venting. But the heating set up is as follows.

WhamBam Resin "hot box" enclosure
Anycubic Air Heat and Pure.

The heat and pure does an excellent job controlling temperature inside the enclosure and is fairly cost effective. Much more functional than the elegoo unit that does not allow you to set a temperature.
