Rapido RDC DCC question

What type of decoder is needed for the Rapido RDC's? Looking at getting one without sound but want to add DCC.

They have a Next18 socket. The DC versions have identical electronics, even down to the speaker being installed as I recall. Certainly have the keepalive capacitors.

I’d use a ESU lokpilot decoder.

I mentioned it earlier in this thread that in the DC models the keep-alive circuit keeps the interior lights on when the track power is lost.
