What struck me as odd about these baggage-dorm cars is that he apparently ISN'T making an Empire Builder version.  They were built for the Mid-Century Builder, and probably ran in EB paint longer than in Big Sky Blue and Amtrak combined.

I model 1974 (Amtrak) and none were in orange and green by then, five in BSB, and 1202 (BN 710) in full BN green and white.  But it would still be nice to have an EB car.

Just finished the latest Train Talk and the reason why there is no Green and Orange in this first release is because of the large amount of Green and Orange GN cars recently announced.

I mentioned the BN 701. Hopefully the next run of these will have it too!

OK, that makes sense.  Let the EB modeler wallets recover, while others enjoy new products for a while.  I hadn't thought of that angle.

I'm ordering a pair Monday.  My bank is being obstinate about approving credit card payments online, so I'll mail him an order.  I've done that before.

I didn’t see a Train Talk announcement so I missed it live but watched yesterday. I really appreciate him trying to space out related releases. This has been a very expensive month with double digit Broadway Limited E units, U-33’s and I a few other miscellaneous things.
