Protomate coupler status?

The search function did not give me what I wanted.

Are these Protomate couplers available and where?

N possible are great, but I need remote magnet uncoupling with no slinky.
Layout will have grades and slinky looks stupid.

Thank you John.
I’m note surely that thread did not come up in my search.

Correction.   It was in the general forum.
I was looking in the products forum.
Thanks again.
And sorry it didn’t work out.

The patent is still active. Considering how many "large" MTL-compatible couplers are currently in use, maybe there is a chance that someone or some company could pick this up.  I don't see the entire Anerican model RR industry switching to Andrew's couplers anytime soon. If Andrew found a way to manufacture those delicate miniature springs for his coupler, there must be a company out there which could produce the simple pigtail type whisker spring needed for Protomates.
