Since seeing these I have thought they would make a great Maine coastal shortline along the lines of Dave Frary and Bob Hayden's Carrabasset & Dead River and Elk River Line. They just have that look about them. I know their's was narrow gauge, but being standard gauge they could connect with the MEC or B&M. But... this is about the time I should be winding things down, not starting over.
