I have 2 older Ender 3 Pros and unlike some have always been very happy with them. They are stock and I've printed hundreds of great prints with them. Up front I learned how to level the bed, takes less than 5 minutes, and other than the occasional clog they have produced great prints, but are now long in the tooth when it comes to printer development/technology.
Also have an older AnyCubic resin printer and a newer but now also old AnyCubic Photon M3 resin printer. Love the M3 and have also done over 100 prints with it.
On more or less a whim after seeing someone post about Bambu's Black Friday sale (goes to Dec I think) I checked to see what their A1 filament printer was going for. Sale price was $279 (shipping included). I think normal retail is almost $400. Since I still have a lot of printing to go with servo brackets, switch boxes, buildings and other items I decided to try one.
It arrived after 3 business days and I put it together. Assembly isn't hard but more than I thought it would be, an hour or so.
What do I think? This printer is fast printing.....real fast and faster than what I expected. I still need over 60 servo brackets so decided to try printing some. Started with one but then decided to see how long 6 would take...

.... Time for 6 ...... 1 hr. and 30 minutes. The Ender filament printer would of taken 7 hours and my AnyCubic Photon M3 (which would only print 6 at a time) would take 2 hr. and 15 minutes, not too much longer than the Bambu A1.
For cases and servo mounts and anything else that needs much strength I prefer a filament print but do use resin printed servo mounts also.
The printer is of higher quality than my old Ender 3 Pro and I believe has the ability to print finer detail than the Ender but the Ender does pretty darn good, down to .014"/.355mm. I think I'll like the A1 and use it a lot. Hope it is as reliable as the Ender has been for me over time.
If I would of had to pay $400 I probably wouldn't of gotten it but for some $400 is still a reasonable price for what you are getting.
