I haven’t much done in the last few weeks, although I tried! I started building a pair of Gold Medal Models GSC bulkheads to add to my 53 foot Athearn flats and it didn’t go well at all…

My medium viscosity CA had matured to an extra thick and was offering no working time or capillary action… frustrating. I’ll give it another go with a fresh bottle once I clean, scrape and re-drill these minuscule, fragile brass parts.
I did console myself with the purchase of a few more weathering victims for the fleet however..





And finished off one I started a few weeks ago.

Thanks for the positive comments guys…

I was able to get my old school Life-Like Alco FA-2 A&B set running again, they pull like crazy, but don’t like running on DCC… Any decoder suggestions for these plastic frame versions.



The colours remind me of this photo I took last weekend….
