JMRI Release 5.12 & Digitrax DN1137e24

Installed Digitrax DN137e24 in ScaleTrains SD40-2.  Put on programmer.  Reads the decoder but there is no DN1137 listed as an option to select as the decoder type.  Any help appreciated.  Thx

Looking in the latest release files for JMRI, I don't see the specific decoder -- but it is a series 7 FX .. you could try to use a definition for the sdxn1137e244 and see how that works ..  I would think those CVs not used by the decoder could be ignored .. and this advice may not even be valid .. use at your own risk

It would be nice if the decoder vendors supplied a list of all CVs and their values with each decoder that they sell.  Perhaps looking on the vendor's site or sending them an e-mail would get the info?

Do you have the latest version of Decoder Pro installed?

Or maybe it is possible that either the decoder is so new (we know it is new since it E24 connector is new to Digitrax) that the definitions are not yet included in the Decoder Pro?

I'm not familiar with that decoder so I looked it up on Digitrax website.  What seems confusing is that the instruction sheet on https://www.digitrax.com/products/mobile-decoders/dn1137e24/ states "13 FX3 Functions, 200mA capacity" but the CV definitions only show 5 functions (F0F, F0R and, F1, F2 and F3)

Thanks for the help and advice.  Will give it a go later this evening.  Latest version (5.12) installed.  Worst case _ i have an ESU decoder on the bench I can repurpose.  It was giving me issues.

Looking at the CV list for this array it doesn't seem different (except for more function outputs) than any other 7th generation wired Digitrax decoder (like DH127).

Theoretically you could tell Decoder Pro that it is a DH127. Unless you are planning on using the additional function outputs not present on DH127. Using DH127 profile you will only be able to configure the headlights.

There is a KB article explaining the decoder naming convention but it has not been updated to reflect the seemingly new 4-digit system (like 1137).
