Latest news is they dodged a bullet. Train cars were carrying hydrochloric acid, but none leaked.

Could well be. The drawbridge at Great Bridge Locks in Chesapeake, VA - non railway - expanded and would not fully close yesterday until a harbor fire tug could arrive to spray water on the pavement and metal grid to cool it off and reduce the expansion.
