I can delete my whole thread if you'd like.

Normally I'd be 100% onboard with leaving politics at the door. But when it affects people's livelihood directly, that becomes difficult. But yeah, I get it. I'm happy to nuke the whole "Hobby doldrums" thread if it will restore balance to the Force.

OK, scratch that...I don't have the permissions to nuke it. But I would not be the least bit bothered if the admins locked or deleted it.

I can try again with a new thread, because I actually do think there's value in discussing the challenges we sometimes face with motivation. I will do my best to leave politics out of it. Every adult faces job uncertainty at some point in their life...that mine was tied to a particular current event does not make me unique or immune to the forum rules.
