@tehachapifan: Incredible work, what diameter is the wire you used?
It's been a while since I did these, but I believe it was either .010 or .012 wire. I'll try to confirm that later today.
Why didn't I use thinner wire? I used .008 on a loco once and, while perhaps more prototypical, it just looked way too thin to me. Plus, I wanted wire that was going to be durable and stay nice and straight like the ones above. I also don't want wire handrails to be way thinner than stock plastic loco handrails. I don't plan on redoing all the handrails in my fleet and I want everything to look similar when together.

I ended up using a hair dryer on low heat. Did the job just fine. Thanks for the input, guys!
