Kato Amfleet I in phase III

Did Kato ever produce their Amfleet I cars in phase III? I see a lot of phase I and VI cars, but nothing in between.

I talked to a Kato sales rep in March at the World’s Greatest Hobby Tour in Cleveland about releasing Amfleets in Phase III again. He told me they’re in the works to release them again in a year or two.

Good to hear, but they haven't released the Amfleet I's in phase III before (only Amfleet II's, which are very different from Amfleet I's). Your reply says "again". Was your inquiry specific to the Amfleet I's?

Hell we may have better luck with Bachmann releasing Phase III stuff before Kato does again.
