A & W Restaurant...

You can find the print files for this A&W restaurant on my thingiverse account ( HERE ).

This is an A&W restaurant that I got the idea for from one that Daves_Trains made from scrap on TrainBoard. ( HERE )Take a look at his as I like it better than what I’ve done here.

This is a small building and doesn’t need much room on the layout Painting the interior can be ‘fun’ but one doesn’t have to do it if the roof isn’t going to be removed.

You can find the print files for the A&W restaurant on my thingiverse account ( HERE ).

You can find a couple hundred other items that you can print on my website ( HERE ).

Looks good! Any idea what era would this be appropriate for?  I guess you could justify one being around long after they went "out", but what might be the earliest year you might see one of these?

Late '50s. That's when the A&W in this style was built in my small town. It was a big deal because it was our first national-brand drive-in.

I will be availing myself of this model.

From looking at older ones I'd say late 50's into the 60's.  You can find them in all different sizes and designs and different paint schemes.  Must of been a lot looser than what you had to do if you were a McDonald's.

This particular design was scalable. Ours had five windows on the service side where yours has three.
