Viaduct Bridge Options

I followed Dr. Dave's approach using the ubiquitous Atlas viaduct. 


Yes, the arches are a bit small, but then, so are most of our layouts.  The addition of the reinforcement bars and some ivy climbing up helps disguise the joinery between the two kits.
For mine, I used a single width bridge that I sliced down the middle, then used sheet styrene to create a new deck of the proper width.  Some whittling of the pier material provided in the kit gave me the proper width for the supports, then I filled in the barrels with some printed sheet. (I might have done that better with some cut block styrene stock, but it's adequate for my purposes so far...

Anyway, we'll be interested to see what you come up with.

Wow, that looks awesome!  Nice work.  That's the style I am looking for.  Is it a stone-style cut styrene sheet under the bridge?

No, just printed paper.  I think it was an old Faller building sheet that I had scanned.  A textured styrene sheet would have probably looked better in this kind of close up, but then it might be a distraction from the molded on grabs on that old Atlas C liner!

How long is the Atlas viaduct?  I can't seem to find the dimensions on the Atlas webpage.  Also, I found a Kibri bridge that looks interesting, you can put two of them together for a double track.  The Kibri is 7.36 inches long, and has three arches:

Would it be possible to use an HO bridge and just modify the stone size using a scribe?  This bridge from Kibri looks pretty cool and has nice arches:
