Anyone know if they got the alternating ditchlights right on these?

I'm guessing not...

I assume you are talking about the current release of Kobo custom units, I have one, and the ditch lights do not flash. I have not opened mine up yet to see, but I would assume it's just a light pipe (ditch lights come on with the headlight, on F0). Mine is currently awaiting dullcote, so I will not be able to open it immediately.

The standard Kato SD70ACe uses a single light pipe for headlight and ditch lights.   To have separately flashing ditch lights, you need to cut the light pipe and run individual LEDs down.
