Athearn 40’ N scale ice reefers?

Forgive me is this isn’t news and I’ve somehow missed it.
I stumbled on “taking backorders” , below, for 40’ reefers by Athearn in a variety of paint schemes. Is this a new tooling or a remake of someone else’s car previously released? Can’t tell much about prototype from the typical lame graphics... What are these??
Feedback appreciated,
Otto K.

Athearn just announced 50' ATSF ice reefers. I can find no reference to 40' reefers. There is a hole in their part number sequence that these could fit in. Maybe a leak, these numbers are nowhere on horizon or athearn.

It looks kinda like a General American built car from 1950-ish (with the tabbed sills).  Not sure about the apparent 2' thick underframe indicated in the artwork.  Postage Stamp/Minitrix/MP/Roco produced a car along those lines 40 years ago.  Will assume that the 18" radius listed in the description is caused by Athearn using the description from their HO model, although that is a different prototype altogether.

Still, it is different from the ATSF and PFE reefers and other prototypes commonly available.  So if it is a real release in N scale, I might be in for a couple.

I gave up rivet counting when I couldn't see an N scale rivet anymore.

Well yes, those are HO, but the ones I inquired about are clearly listed as N, hence my question.
Odd...either an error, or a premature leak....?
It would be nice to have some more reefer variety.

^ This - they have the same part numbers as the new HO releases:

If they were N scale, they would have different part numbers.
