Like I said in my FB share, this is why I cringe when I see people filming right next to the tracks.

Yea, zooming out does not physically move you further away from the derailing train cars.

There was lots of bounce in the cars even before he panned to follow the engines. Too bad he did.

Still an awesome video. I would need a new pair of shorts fer sure.

Why can't people cut the first ten minutes of nothing?  I was halfway through the video before the train showed up.

One of my favorite stories is, we were sitting in Longview yard waiting our turn to do our work, when over the radio I here a guy on another crew say in the calmest most detached voice you ever heard, "better get a hand brake on those cars before they hit the main.  Then about fifteen seconds later that same voice comes on and says, "Never mind the derail got em".  Sure enough when we went by there were four hoppers on their sides.
