Start date for PRR Shadow Herald logo

My understanding was this logo started being applied to cars in 1955, but not sure. Can't really go by the data printed on factory-painted cars -- one of mine says blt 4-46 yet it has the keystone but no rebuilt date.

I can think of four websites off the top of my head where you easily can go to confirm that. The first one starts with a “G”.
