There is one such car that has been up for sale on eBay three times recently with no bids.
You could try contacting the seller or watch for it to be listed again.

Beyond that, since the undec car was released in 1992, you'll need to identify those Micro-Trains dealers that have been in existence since that time.
The wayback machine has this MTL dealer list from circa 1996:

Compare the two lists and start contacting the dealers from the old list that still appear on the latest list.
Perhaps begin with those dealers on the old list denoted by an asterisk since they would have had a standing order to receive most, if not all, of the monthly releases.

Yeah, I have about a dozen undecs with various doors.  But newer Atlas cars like the 50' RBL and 4180 Airslides aren't being offered in undecorated and talking to Atlas at the show last weekend made it seem like this could be the way of the future for them.

Foobs in the Trainman line, yes. In the Master line? Rarely, and usually noted in advertising when it does occur.

I have received my undecorated 37000 car and compared it with the photographs.  I believe that I can address most of the differences between the model and the prototype.

I see that Micro-Trains makes 8'-0" doors in two different packages:  #1091 and #1092 (L+R).  is it possible just to swap out the existing doors and replace with the 8 footers?

Any difference if I am buying the #1091 or #1092?

If I remember right, the 1091 is for single-door cars, and all of the doors have tack boards.  The 1092 (L&R) are for double door cars, and only the right doors have the tack boards.  Also, if you want working doors, the single-door version won't work for the left door.
