Loksound 5 Micro, bell speed

Hi Guys.
I have installed a Loksound 5 Micro in a steam loco, with the GS-4 sounds. I'm trying to slow the bell down, but cannot seem to find the relevant CV to do this. Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers, Bob.

I opened up my LokProgrammer and slowed the bell rate on this file by a value of two, then I used the "changed CV" feature and this is what it said...
CV31 = 16, CV32 = 1
----------------------
CV285 = 126
CV286 = 126
It is important to set CV31 and CV32 first. The default setting for CV285 (min sound speed)and CV286 (max sound speed) appears to be 128. Keep in mind slowing the bell rate will also likely distort/slow the bell sound. Another option might be to select a different bell that has a slower rate to start with.

Well, I tried that, but after changing CV 285, nothing would work! In the end I had to do a CV8 8 reset to get everything back! Even asking it what # it was cane back as NO- ack. At least it's back to life now.

Are you using a PowerPro? Those cannot program LokSound (or any decoder’s) indexed CVs correctly. Results in the symptoms you describe. Do you have DecoderPro?

No. Digitrax superchief. Everything is working since I did a reset, but, CV 285 screws everything up. Just gonna leave it as is.

Did you start by setting CV31=16 and CV32=1 first?
Those are index CV's and must be set prior to changing CV's 285 and 286.

Yes, CV 31 and CV32 done before I started. It’s only the bell speed so I’m not really bothered.
Cheers, Bob.
