Anyone running Scaletrains?
How do they run?’

Slower-geared like an Atlas, smooth like a Kato. In other words, the best of both worlds.
Oh, and they look good, too!

My Turbine runs well but . . .the tender trucks are noticeably skewed, both to the left. This means there is drag or something else forcing them to slide more than roll.
The sound is outstanding and it crawls well.

Do you switch with them?  These weren't meant to crawl man...let 'em rip.

Do some basic tender troubleshooting.  Spin each wheelset and see if they spin freely.  Check if the trucks pivot freely and the truck stays centered (the pickup wires do not prevent the trucks from centering).  Place the tender on track and push it by hand to see if it rolls freely.  See where I'm going with this?  Tender is a free-rolling un-powered model - troubleshooting it shroud not be too difficult.

Mine doesn't like pulling amfleets. It has some trouble with S curves. Otherwise it's fantastic. Equally as well done as their HO scale version.
