My Osgood-Bradley cars don't like 12.5"R curves

So I'm wondering what kind of solutions I can use. Right now the easiest would be removing the vestibule from one end of each car. Possibly the vestibule depth can be shaved down a bit.  I wonder how much trouble it is to reposition the coupler farther out?. I haven't taken the couplers off yet, so I don't know if there's another hole under there to move the coupler to. Anybody know?
The vestibules now are pushing against each other on the curve, and shoving one of the trucks off the rails. Pretty sure this is a at least 12" radius, but I haven't run them yet on the curve inside that one (double-track main). Hopefully I don't have this problem with the 8600 coaches.
My KATO cars and the MTL heavyweights have no problems on either of the curves. However it looks like the Osgood-Bradley vestibules hit or at least rub against each other even on my 16-18" R curves -- not enough to derail the car but still touching. I suppose if you have a layout with 24" minimum radius you won't have problems. This mania for making short couplers and extended vestibules may look beautiful on those big sweeping layouts, but not so great for us little guys..
On the other hand, every KATO passenger car I've owned can make 9.5"R curves easily.

And if moving the couplers closer to the end of the car doesn't work, you could substitute a 1016 coupler for the 1015.

Wow. A mfgr telling us how to correct possible problems before people start complaining about them? Is Rapido trying to start something?

:?
I think they are trying to please a wide range of customers by offering a flexible design and documenting it well.  If it were my company (and thank goodness I'm not a model manufacturer) I would have shipped these with the couplers further out since the customers that care most about close coupling are likely to be fine with moving them in.  Vice-versa? - not so much.

Another alternative (and well documented is to allow the coupler to swivel on its pin or bolt as the MT heavyweights do.  This makes the overhang swing much more bearable on tighter curves.

The PBLWs and the upcoming 8600s are recommended for an 11” minimum radius, and that’s with the couplers moved out. Pretty sure the min-rad is somewhere on the box insert.

Moving the couplers out solved the problem. Tho the curve is not 11"R. but it's my minimum radius. So it was an easy fix, and the screws find the new holes quickly so no parts go flying all over. But now I'm forewarned about the 8600's.
