Gensets for scrap already?

Looking around on Google maps I see LTEX is adding more to their Lordstown, OH facility. Most everything there looks like older retired locomotives, but I spotted a line of UP locos that look like newer gensets:

Are these already "old"?

Didn't meet their promise, so my edu-guess is anything needing major repair is being sold off. I do know the crews hated 'em.

The UP of old was not shy about retiring "new concepts" early if they weren't rousing successes, so I guess that heritage carries on.

I think some of the Railpower/ GreenGoat gensets (as pictured in your link) also had battery fire issues compared to the NRE ones which have been staying out there for now.
