Hate it when that happens.

An ironic touch would have been if the home that was assaulted contained a model RR.

That house is waaaaaaay too close to the tracks.  I would never buy a home in a location like that, and I like trains!  Can you imagine what that sounded like inside the home just before and as it hit the house?

When I first saw the video I thought it was a particular house where I had attended a party many years back. Once seeing the street name, different neighborhood.

There are houses all over Atlanta right up on the tracks like that. The mild hills forced the RRs to snake around and quite a web of tracks developed, chopping up the city. There are some pretty tony neighborhoods ($1M+!) with medium-busy mainlines cutting through. Given the value of real estate within the I-285 loop, encroaching on RR RoW is pretty much business as usual.
