Kato SD80MAC cab window question

Anyone have any experience in removing and re-installing the window glass for the SD80MAC cab?  I cannot get the piece out of the cab
without breaking it.  I ordered some extras from Kato once I discovered my inability to remove the piece from the cab.  And now I cannot get the front window portion of the replacement piece to fit back in flush with the window frame.  It appears to be a super tight fit.  Before I go and start sanding/filing the window piece I thought I'd toss this out there to see if anyone had any pointers.  I've never run into this before with any other locomotive I've disassembled for painting.  I've even had other club members try this as well with the same results as I have had.

thanks

To get the window out, you need to pop the side windows in and push them forward through the front window opening. Put them back in reverse (insert glass through front window opening until glass is flush on the front of the cab, then pop dude windows into place.)

Through the front. Got it.   I re-installed from the inside of the cab.

Thanks for the quick reply

Go in thru inside the cab but push the front windows thru their opening until you can then push the side windows into place. It's all snap together construction.
