ya'll must have been engineers in a prior life,, and not the RR kind. They always,, I mean ALWAYS over think things,, and make things more complicated than they really need to be.

 This is the exact reason I decided to not even post images,, and the ones I did,, I removed an hour or two later.

Then again, as a moderator, I hate speculating as to what caused a forum member to depart.  If it's something concrete we can address, we'll address it.  If the man is just tired of this place, that's different.

I used to be active in a lot of forums but as I lost interest I just quit posting.  No big goodbyes, just faded away.

Some forums will clean up inactive members after a time, but I normally don't delete my own profiles just in case something strikes my interest again.  I would recommend that course of action in this case also.

That last post on the blog was from 2015 and he's posted more recent work on the layout here as recently as today. 
I'm hopeful things will work themselves out.  There are more important things to worry about than Model Railroading and TRW participation, that's for sure.
