"Search" Feature...
« on: March 22, 2017, 02:58:11 PM »
I don't quite get this feature of this site.

If I want to look up a title that had a single digit, such as a "3" or "N", I get a kickback saying that "all words must have be at least 2 characters long", or something to that effect. So I wanted to look up "N Scale", or "Z Scale", or as in one of my own older threads, "A Tale of 2 V200s", I can't. Because of the "N", "Z" , "A" and the "2".

Am I missing something here?

Cut your search up into simple searches, instead of a whole title. "Tale of V200s" gave me 2 results, One being this thread, the other being the thread you are looking for, I assume.....

If you search it with double quotation marks, it works fine.

I submit a site index to Google, so a Google search scoped to this site would work too:
