I've been thinking of doing something like this. Some grimy New England industrial area. I need another project like I need a hole in the head, but it may happen.

Very nicely done. One of the things I like best is the difference in the ties on the sidings. Very nice track plan too. I may build a switching layout inspired by this to use for photos.

Nice layout...but when I think of small switching layouts, I go no further than John Allen's Timesaver. Days of fun...
