FVM wheels fro Intermountain cars

Looking for enough wheelsets to do 3 Intermountain boxcars . I have .553 wheels , but they are a bit tight . I assume I need the .540 wheelsets ?  Anyone know where I can get them ? Out of stock everywhere I've checked can't even get them direct .  Thanks ! ....Mike

I don't know what to say. I have some FVM .533 wheels in some Intermountain trucks, and they work fine.

I guess I'm lucky, in that all Intermountain cars I have have the MT trucks/couplers on them.  But they use the .540 axle length so then I'm out of luck.  I just bought a bag of .533 and it has IRC listed on it so I'm guessing that stands for Intermountain Railway Company.

Your axles should fit Atlas 100ton trucks.

Yesterday I was told by one dealer that new stock of FVM wheels is on its way. Should be available in a couple of weeks.......

I've got a stash of 36" diameter, 0.540 axles wide tread that I won't be using.  I'd be happy to trade them for 33" diameter, 0.553 axles.
