I found I don't have to file a notch into the rail for the point rail to fit into. The recent #4 turnouts seem to have that problem licked.

Keep in mind I've never even touched a Kato turnout.

When I type "Kato #4 turnout" into Google the second suggestion that pops up under that is "Kato #4 turnout problems".
