Is This Norfolk & Western NW2 Black or Pevlar Blue?

This loco looks more blue than black to me. But I've learned through experience that I can't trust appearances when it comes to Pevlar blue. Does anyone have a definitive photo?

Thanks.

Hmm... looks orange to
me...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

Blue.  In the second photo, you can see the contrast between the blue body and the black fuel tank and trucks.

Thanks. I thought so, but if you look at my other thread on N&W GP35s, you'll see a link to a "blue" GP35 that's really(?) black.

Yeah, but Kiz, that photo that you were referring to in the other thread was so washed out.  The good news is that if you turn out to be wrong in your final paint selection, it's going to be hard for others to argue against it.

Good call - it appears to be freshly painted, and in 1967 that would be blue.
