I operate semi-regularly on Rick's. His attention to detail is amazing. My favorite part of his layout is Lucknow as it's a really good transition from the urban to more scenic portion of the layout. I get to run his steel mill on Friday,

As heretical as it is, I feel that pull from time to time too. As awesome as PRR in N scale is right now, it's still a fraction of the awesome that's available in HO. That said, 10 foot trains are enough of a logistical problem. That same train in HO would be close to 20 feet, or well over half the length of the room that I have available. N scale it is!

I don't know, I watched the videos, the train ran well and the modeling was excellent, but I think it could be done just as well in N scale. There wasn't any scene or building that screamed get out of N. However, getting older, the larger size is easier on the eyes.
