We all like the see the outside of curves .

It also is a vantage point for great photos and glimpses .

Ease of maintenance is a plus .

Plexiglas's , Maisonette , or modeled in berm guards are usually not removable . Snap up Plexi , screens , or whatever would be ideal if they lay flat and upside down when unwanted , and snap up to a forty five degree angle when used as protection . Each unit needs to only be a foot or less long and at the raised 45 degree in use position be just a few inches high .

That crew's got some explaining to do.   Wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that investigation.

The derailment was caused down the line where the grade comes down 1/4" from the Bridge, BY the time it rolls through the double  X over all hell broke loose as it approached the next 2% grade

First thing is to have the crew pee in a cup...then add something to keep the cars from falling all the way into the canyon.

Needs some safety trees. Stick some tooth picks in along the curve so if it happens again they hang up there and not slide off. Remove them when you have a permanent sollution.
