Finding a Post by a Member
« on: January 15, 2016, 10:05:45 PM »
I want to find a recent post by a member, but I don't see it in any of the threads. Is there a way to see all recent posts by a specific member? Thanks for any help.

Hmm... don't ask me...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.
"It works! It works!"

Click on the member's name (which will take you to the member's profile) and on the left, click on "Show posts."

You can also go to the "Advanced Search" option on the "Search" page and there is a place to put a member's name or part of a name and use a wildcard (the "*" character as in reinha* ).  But Dave's way is easier and that's I use most of the time.

But the advanced search it really useful when looking for a specific post from a member (by using some additional keywords), and even narrowing it down to a specific forum section.
