Here are a few from my sporadic year of trains. I only managed to get trackside a few times unfortunately.
I took this yesterday of a northbound Amtrak crossing the James river in Richmond VA.
Buckingham Branch #3 switches the CSX interchange at Doswell VA.
Number 3 is warming up on the Portland ME narrow gauge line.
My girlfriend and I made a cross country trip this past Summer, in which I made sure we stopped by Cheyenne WY to catch some of UP's transcon action. I think we saw around 12 trains in the hour we were there. Cheyenne is such a great spot.
