How to demagnetize tweezers, screwdrivers, etc?

Just realized I have a plug-in tape head demagger I got from Techforless.com. I should give that a whirl. Yeah, don't want to do the heat thing.
 Just put that demagger away a few months ago, after maintenance of all cassette players I have.

I think that a head demagnetize is not quite strong enough to demagnetize tools.  But since you already have it, it is worth a try.

Tape head demagger did a fairly well job. Had to do it twice. Phillips driver is still a bit magnetic, so maybe a 3rd pass is needed.

Off-topic, but related to degaussers, Computer World Magazine's "Shark Tank" column today was all about magnets, CRTs, and the fun therewith.  The story wasn't much, but the comments were a lot of fun:
