CSX 1506 leads 3 other GP15's elephant style on BOR E (Ottawa Il- Barr Yard) eastbound on the old Rock Island through New Lenox Il in 1993. In an interesting tidbit, little did I know my 5 year old son who was standing next to me when I took this photo would one day become an engineer on the New Rock sub of CSX and regularly catches this job today. ( I apologize for the poor scan, I really need to redo some older stuff.)

Some new trackwork being done by the Genessee & Wyoming/Indiana & Ohio on the former B&O Midland Sub in Oakley, Ohio (Cincinnati).  They are adding and extending yard/siding tracks to what was a single-track main.  Note the eclectic mix of ballast hoppers, including Vulcan and an old Algoma Central Ortner hopper.
