I think the apparent bend is caused by a very short focal length lens.

Bingo. Fisheye effect. You can see some corresponding "bend" in the opposite direction at the bottom of the hunk of Unitrack.

Wowza! She looks superb!
Only problem is that my bottom jaw fell off and I can't seem to find it.
