I got one of his 1930's REA trucks and am impressed. His HO line is fantastic. Wish he could decide on 4-5 of the best sellers and make them in N. Maybe TRW should have a discussion thread about which vehicles N needs most.

Maybe TRW should have a discussion thread about which vehicles N needs most.

That's a tricky one since "need" depends on what era, locale, etc. you model.  "Needed" versus what will sell is hard to tell.  While there may be more people modeling one specific time period (need), the modelers of another era may have more spending capacity and more apt to actually purchase.  The perceived market is further skewed by Sylvan's models being kits versus RTR.

Would anyone be interested in a group buy of the new models?

I sent an email to Clare asking what and when these will be available. I also asked about the possibility of seeing modern RTS and MCI buses in both scales.

I can tell you there is a s__tload more of Sylvan's present HO models I'd rather see in N Scale than time wasted producing an RTS bus.

I have to agree.  I need vehicles, primarily commercial vehicles, to serve industries.  Unless I am modeling a dense urban scene, buses aren't that important and are pretty well covered at this point, with Tomix's recent release.  I'm hoping Sylvan does the 860 iterations first after the Emeryville, since it has cross-over potential from straight tractor to dump truck and other uses.  Then I'd love to see the 9000 in standard and sleeper versions, along with the Cannonball.

I'd love to see some more 60s trucks too, especially a Ford N series or an IH CO series:

I just got an email back from Clare. He stated there will be a lot of N scale to follow and take a look at HO offerings as a hint of what is coming. Buses are still on the drawing board. I suggest all of you email him your ideas for  buses.
