This little gem came a callin back behind the Rapido Galactic Headquarters today..... we piled out in anticipation, cameras in hand.....











Now, I'm a Canadian Pacific guy but even I have to say that's one handsome train - she was making a good 60 mph as she blasted past us on her way to Oshawa down to the Kingston sub. Nice to see some trains, while you work with some trains..... :D

Yes... I've also seen the train in person. Stunning. If they hadn't sold-off the E's and repainted them to this "executive" scheme, it would be even that much better.

Nice locos, but the rest needs a paint job to something a little more modern. :ashat:   No small irony with the lettering on the dome car.   :facepalm:

I believe CN still owns them, I wasn't aware they sold them. Can anyone confirm this?

Now Iowa Pacific SLRG 100 and 101.

CN should still have a 102 and 103.

I think they still have a pair in CN old new scheme green and black . They had 4 and sold 2 .

How did former BN E's end up with CN in the first place? Did they get them when they bought some railroads or did they buy them specifically?

They acquired them and the majority of their buisness car fleet through the Illinois Central merger...
